Bit of a last minute change of plans for next week. Tuesday I'm playing at Arch1 (poster above), then on Wednesday I'm playing at the Fiddler's Elbow. Follow the link for details.
Cheers, hope to see you there, whoever you might be!

Three pieces of music to choose from, 2 live gigs featuring yours truly and a jam recording also featuring yours truly. The Brighton gig definitely a highlight if you ask me. Check them out - http://improvisi.bandcamp.com/album/improvisi-cd-limited-edition More to be announced! Still available for other jams and sessions if you need me.

There was a groove, there was blues, there was rock, there was funk. Hadn't played any of that for a while but it felt great.
All with Improvisi. Check the FB page for all info on these events and hope to see you there.
Also, around late June our free jams will return in a new location and with a new promoter, so lots of playing in the pipeline. My search for a teacher/mentor has bore fruit almost instantly as I now have not just one but TWO teachers! In no particular order, I'm now taking lessons from Alex Ward and John Russell. They don't need any intros, especially from me, but in case you don't know them, check out their websites and music. They've both had lengthy careers which speak for themselves. March gig @ Rhythm Factory here. It was very angry, not sure why!
Also check the other Improvisi live recordings even if I'm not in those lineups. |
