CFT - recruiting!
CFT has been going on since November 2014. It started the opposite way most bands start: I had dates to play and needed a band to play them. So I hastily put together a band with a mix of old and new friends and got to it. The songs were kept to a minimum of complexity so we could get going straightaway.
In these 10 months I've learned a lot about CFT and have considerably expanded the songbook and have a clearer picture of how it should sound like (mixed metaphors, sorry).
Also, after lots of permutations I've finally found the ideal lineup for the material: guitar, drums and bass. I'm on guitar, we've got Keith Pinnock who's a brilliant drummer on board, and now we're looking for a bass player

Some live sets here, here and here.

wanted!
Bassist
Creative spirit, an open-mind willing to interpret and imagination are all welcome and encouraged. Doesn't have to be a jazzer but must know their way around scales, chords, modes, quartal harmony and so forth. Most important is to be able to listen and respond, to want to use unusual timbres on their bass through effects pedals or use a bow, etc. Will consider double-bass and electric bass players. (not so) Fine print: I have a nice network around London, so I can get some great gigs. For starters, those won't be paid or paid just to cover expenses. But I have a plan, and here it is...
